Telltale Games Is Out Of Here?
Yep, Telltale Games has left the building. Telltale Games have been in some bad water. I have no clue as to why they are doing bad with titles like Batman and Walking Dead series. Telltale Games is based in Northern California. They are seriously shutting down to all of you Telltale Game fans. Sherwood Partners will be doing the closure of the company. All of the assets will be up for grabs on a clearance.
From what we know even the employee benefits are being cut. November 29th is the health benefits are to be clipped. They laid off a crapload of people before this so it was coming. At least they are finishing some of the series but I do not expect them to be good though. They even removed their games from the Steam Platform for sale. So, if you haven't played their games you might be out of luck. I am not sure if game keys are activatable on the platform if the game is not available for sale on steam. We still do not know why they are going under.
I personally like the games but then a lot of people didn't care for them via sells. I think all this is afoot because of the games they decided to make. Having to play for voice actors and music probably killed them. Only two titles I see that would make money would be Minecraft and Walking Dead. These are seriously mainstreamed titles. Other titles like Back to Future and Borderlands I can see not being big money makers.
This is digital days we live in now. If you do not make games by what is hyped you are out of business. They should have made one on Fortnite, LOL.
